The sun is a giant flaming ball of gas.

If you look closely, you will see black spots on this giant star.

The reason these "sunspots" exist, is due to those area's being cooler than the rest of the sun.

The temperature of the sun is 9,941°F.

The sun provides light, and energy for all of the planets in it's rotation, making it a vital part of our solar system.

We can't currently land on the sun, like you can on the Moon, because of it's intense heat.
